Two Škoda Superb vehicles in Laurin & Klement trim with a 2.0 TSI (195 kW) petrol engine, all-wheel drive and a seven-speed DSG automatic transmission have been modified as special police vehicles of category M1. These vehicles meet the requirements for special purpose and will be used primarily to escort important persons within the Military Police of the Czech Republic.
The modifications include homologated warning lighting technology from Whelen , including blue and orange flashes, hidden LED warning lights and an integrated control unit. For better communication with other road users, the vehicles are also equipped with LED stop panels with the option of displaying warning texts. There is also a specific Military Police decal and full compliance with all technical and visual standards for service in the armed forces.
